Physical fitness fades surprisingly fast, and for those who have delayed exercise until it's safe to go outside, it's going to be much more difficult to get back in shape. Restarting a habit can be an uphill battle mentally, and if anything has been proven, it's that lack of exercise is directly correlated to negative mental health.

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown and social distancing measures have had adverse effects on our physical and mental health. In a June published global study by Annals of Internal Medicine, daily step counts decreased between 27% - 50% following lockdown. Parallel to this, the rate of depression has spiked nearly 30%. This project's aim is to ease the population back into a more normal movement routine to battle the physical and mental impacts of the pandemic.
